The EU Commission, ERASMUS+ programme, annually awards its prestigious Jean Monnet Chairs to researchers in the field of European Integration. This year Stefanie Wöhl was awarded the Chair in “Diversity and Social Cohesion in the European Union” to foster teaching, research and activities for a broader public on these topics. The book is published with Springer Publishing VS, edited by Stefanie Wöhl, Elisabeth Springler, Martin Pachel & Bernhard Zeilinger, in the book series “Staat, Nation, Souveränität” (VS-Verlag). This book looks at developments in different policy fields such as migration and asylum, social exclusion, right wing populism, financialization, economic and democratic development.
From July 3rd to 6th 2019 the ECPG Conference will take place at the University of Amsterdam. Stefanie Wöhl will present a paper on “Gender democracy, social movements and new left parties in Spain”. For more information click here
